I was very excited to get a tweet from one Neil Gaiman, definitely my favorite writer. So far, he's the biggest celeb on twitter to respond to me in any fashion, and it was an honor to have him do so.
My followers on there did not increase one iota, but I've come to the realization that really doesn't matter. I could give a fuck less, honestly. Very few, if any at all will read my #30poems30days, but in the end all that really matters is that I took upon myself to actually accomplish this goal that I have set out for myself. It opens the door for more similar goals, ones that will challenge myself creatively and mentally and hopefully make me a better person.
I doubt if anyone is even reading this blog right now, other than the person typing it (that's me), but again I could give a fuck less. Call it a personal memoir.

#30poems30days
Over on my tumblr, breakthebutterfly, I've decided to write 30 poems in 30 days. It's an effort to get my writing mojo back. As is this blog, I suppose, but this blog is for writing other things. Okay, maybe I'll post my poems on here from time to time. Less poems and more song lyrics without any music to accompany them (yet).
